Taurus Tremani Bartlett, better known by Polo G, his stage name Polo G is an American rapper and songwriter. The most well-known of his works is the song Pop Out. Mr. Capalot, also known as Polo Capalot as he is sometimes called from Chicago Illinois started to gain popularity after releasing songs on YouTube. The rapper first released songs including The Come Up and Never Cared and also made his first appearance on SoundCloud with the mixtape OFFICIAL POLO.G SoundCloud. Gang With Me marked his first hit single which was followed by another hit"Finer Things. The song was written in prison. The song became his breakthrough single and amassed million of hits on YouTube which brought him into the limelight. Records majors were beginning to take notice. Pop Out featuring Lil Tjay eventually saw the light of day after the rapper signed an arrangement for distribution to Columbia Records. The single received millions of views on YouTube. Furthermore, it reached 22nd position on Billboard Hot 100. Polo G was soon a YouTube star and was well-known via social media platforms like Instagram as well as Twitter.
