Mena Alexandera is an American model, actress and fashion designer. She was born on 13 February 1979. Her modeling career began in the year 1990, and then moved into acting following appearances as a guest on TV shows such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. Her first film appearance was on 1997's drama Nowhere. After her performances of American Beauty (for which she won an award from the BAFTA Award) and American Pie that attracted much attention, she completed the transition to major role. She was in the film industry for a year, and appeared with her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. In 2001, she took on the lead role in Sugar & Spice (2000). She also starred in Spun the independent drama and 2004's thriller Trauma. In addition, she was a part of HBO's drama series Six Feet Under in 2004 the show was awarded a nomination for a member of the Best Cast of the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, she was included in a variety of films, including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the movie adaptation to The Garden of Eden. Suvari was featured in numerous fashion magazines and blogs and blogs, such as Vogue. She is also a Lancome model as well as appearing in print advertisements for Lancome Paris Adaptive. She has been a supporter and advocate for The African Medical and Research Foundation an eminent organization that provides assistance to the African continent.
