Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is an Afghani woman born to an Russian father and a Hindu Indian mother. She speaks fluently of German Russian and English and additionally speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India to an Indian father and a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, is fluent in both languages. When she was 11 she choreographed and danced in a show that earned her a German TV appearance. The show included a snow maiden from Russia who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. After completing high school and college in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. After school she took acting classes at the HB Studio but then moved on to study improvisation in the Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and an Russian mother Olga. Her parents separated when she was 13 years older and they moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She is a part of Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most famous role. She has had a recurring part in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
